of Warcraft... :-) Since that's where I met you guys, and that's where I've stayed thus far... Amazingly, it's been almost exactly 4 years since this game came out, and to me it's still fun and exciting! WotLK just released and I've got to say, it is beautiful. They didn't just add more mobs that look slightly different from the old ones, more zones that are basically the same feel as previously... They added better shading, more realistic fire and water effects (the water particularly blows my mind), a completely different method of questing (riding special mounts with unique abilities), and a much more immersive storyline because it actually grows with your character. Basically, if you were ever thinking of coming back to WoW, now's a good time. This is totally a better expansion than BC was.

As for me, wife's still not pregnant, sad. Work is taking all my time, about 10 to 12 hours a day, but at least Thanksgiving's coming up.

Jorge,

while I think it's safe to say that we all miss you (and wish you were with us), I also think it's quite safe to say, the vast, vast majority of us will not be coming back to World of Warcraft.

Now, as the Nahyr story will always remind us (read: ME) to 'Never say never', I can honestly tell you for me personally, Warhammer has me immersed. It's a living, breathing world that I look forward to each day/night. I enjoy the never-ending struggle to protect the ways of Order from the crushing onslaught of the mass that is the forces of Destruction.

We're vastly outnumbered. We're vastly outgunned. And yet, we're not just holding our own, we're actually winning in several places within the world.

I must also tell you, that with very few exceptions, we've gained some very solid people within the ranks of the family over the course of both our short time in Conan and now here in WAR. I do not miss the drama that some of those who chose to run with us in WoW liked to bring to the table. I certainly do not miss being yelled at, harrassed and harangued for my time only to be told 'Oh, sorry, did you say something? I was busy watching the Lord of the Rings and missed that!' - AFTER said harrassment. (One small example of the drama-queens we encountered whilst in Azeroth.) I do not miss people who said they understood our call to arms - only to jump ship to the first uberguild they could, given their first opportunity to do so.

I miss YOU (a lot actually!). I do not miss Azeroth nor the vast majority of its denizens. I also do not miss the lack of customer support, the cow-towing to the uber guilds, nor the hills overrun with 13 year olds thinking they were the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Yes, I realize I sound a little bitter. Apologies. But I wanted to make it clear beyond any shadow of a doubt that I for one will not be re-entering the WoW scene at any point.

For you, I truly hope it is an enjoyable experience!

Good to hear from you Jorge smile

Nice to hear about all the nice stuff they did in WoW content and gameplay wise.

Say hi to Carly and her boytoy for me when you get a chance. I miss em. Tell her to spend an hour in IF yodeling my name for old time sake hehe.

Ahhh, Nahyr....................

Hey Jorge,

Thanks for the update. Blizzard has always put out quality. The went from a rough start to the biggest selling MMO of all time. I too like what I am doing in War, but, I am glad that they continue to improve and expand a game that gives so much pleasure to so many. Carry on the fight and thanks for checking in.
